Coffee anyone?

Just got a cup of Cafe Americano (Grande) from Starbucks earlier…

What I love from Starbucks is the aroma of the coffee oozing from the espresso machine; It kinda invigorates my soul.. Huff!!!… *Adik lang :P
Oops! I forgot to add some sugar and creamer…
Damn! Anyway, ever felt sleepy after drinking a cup of coffee?
Me? I do…
My curiosity lead me to search facts and information regarding this kind of condition, and to my surprise, Google never failed me (Thanks Lary and Sergey)…

Based from what I’ve read, Coffee acts as a stimulant (Well, I already know that from College) but what amazed me more is that it somewhat have the opposite effect to people with ADHD…

"ADHD/Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder -  is a problem with inattentiveness, over-activity, impulsivity, or a combination”

Since coffee is a Cortical Arousal, it supercharges an individual causing the same boost like that of an adrenaline rush at a certain level. What happens when you drink a cup of coffee is that it makes you give off more energy (Kryptonian Power \(^_^)/ lol!). So… if you have ADHD, it’ll drain high levels of energy from you… “Oh man, that sucks!!” Mehh… not for me, because I can use it as a lite alternative to sleeping pills. /gg! ;))
